Bay of Bengal Sea Turtle Programme is accepting applications for volunteer positions for its in-situ conservation sites in Saint Martin’s Island.
If you get selected, you’ll be assigned to help the local volunteers in beach-patrol, nest-protection, and releasing baby sea turtles in the Saint Martin’s Island. Some of the participants will be assigned to collect data also.
Please note that, on the Island you’ll be staying at shared tent hosted by the local community.
Participation fee is Bangladeshi Taka 7,000 per person, which includes costs of Non-AC round trip bus travel from Dhaka to Teknaf, round trip ship travel from Teknaf to Saint Martin’s Island, food cost for 5 days.
Participants will have to commit for at least 5 days (excluding travel days) anytime between 20 February to 30 April 2017. (Actual time period for each volunteer will be determined during interview)
